The base
AM Charter is based at Poltu Quatu, on the Costa Smeralda in north-eastern Sardinia.
Poltu Quatu, which means "concealed harbor" in Sardinian, is located in an inlet that is sheltered
from both the sea and the wind. Created in 1987, it is a faithful reproduction of an ancient sea port, built around a classical circular piazza with alleyways and houses carved out of the rock.
The port features a comprehensive range of facilities and services (coffee bars, market, restaurants, pubs, newsstand, upscale boutiques)
and is situated just a few miles from the islands of Caprera, La Maddalena, Santa Maria, Spargi, Budelli, Lavezzi and Razzoli.
